My Ama

This is my grandma Emily and me, 2 days old - I will be calling her 'Ama' when I can talk. She came to Singapore to look after my mama and me. I think she is very beautiful and kind. She cooked a lot of yummy food for mama, very good for me too as I get to taste it from mama's milk!

Hello Here I Come!

This is my very 1st posting and I'm very excited to share with you what I have been up to since I was born on 18 Mar 2006. My name is Joshua and I have a Chinese name Wei-Jie becuase my mama is Taiwanese. Mama loves calling me Wei-Wei. I can't tell you what my baba loves to call me because mama thinks it sounds really rude (it actually has something to do with my gender).

My baba is from Norfolk UK and we live in Singapore now. While baba works very hard to bring food home, mama looks after me full time so I'm a very lucky boy. I was 2.9kg and 50cm long when I was born. I haven't been doing much since I was born because I'm very sleepy and hungry all the time. I like my life so far in Singapore, although the weather is a bit hot sometimes, but that means I can go for a dip whenever I want when I'm a little older.
